The reason I’m contacting you is because Jenny and I have noticed a few things that we want to run by you. Sometimes, in cast discussion plurks, we feel that you’re coming off as hostile to Jim and Tifa in a way that. There are times when it feels like you're ascribing the worst possible motivations to them or refuse to acknowledge that their perspective on the situation is somewhat valid. We’ve also felt that our attempts to organically improve our CR with Cissnei have been brushed off. It’s understandable if you’d like their CR to remain negative, but it would be better to convey that rather than shutting down conversation. This was particularly noticeable in Jodie’s recent plurk asking for a new display name, where you assumed Jim was siding with Zack and also assumed that Tifa’s opinion of Cissnei wouldn’t improve, and then brushed us off when we tried to explain.
Their negative CR in this case is being influenced by assumptions, but is also being shaped by Cissnei’s decision to side with Sephiroth and, as I mentioned on plurk, her positioning herself as a guard/rational observer. While it’s true that Jim and Tifa are treating Cissnei unfairly to an extent, we’ve gotten a vibe that you feel as though their reactions are coming out of nowhere, and we’ve felt that you’ve been talking about them OOC in a very dismissive, negative way after we've tried to explain where they're coming from and why they're reacting to Cissnei the way that they have.
We’ve also been wondering if you’re feeling left out, because Cissnei is traveling with Sephiroth and can’t travel with her other castmates at the moment. If that’s true, we really want to make it clear that all of us still want to RP with you and want Cissnei to have a relationship with our characters. We want you to feel included, even if Cissnei isn’t traveling with the group! If I, personally, have done anything to make you feel unwelcome or alienated from the group then I apologize for that and would sincerely like to improve the situation.

Firstly, thank you for coming to me with this, and before it can get any more out of hand than it might be now.
Secondly, I want to apologise because I never wanted it to come across that I, OOCly, don't understand why Jim and Tifa would be wary of Cissnei and obviously I haven't been making that very clear. Also for that you feel that I've been brushing you guys off, which hasn't been the intention but obviously it's something I need to be more careful about going forward.
With that out of the way: as I said, I do completely get why Cissnei is getting the reactions she has been. Thinking things over, I think the biggest thing is I haven't been clear enough when I've been presenting things as from Cissnei's perspective rather than from a player perspective which might have muddled things? And maybe I could have stood to have been clearer that I understand where their attitudes are coming from (maybe getting a little carried away in the bantering side of things, which I will step back from doing if it's going to muddle things like this).
In terms of progressing the CR moving forward, I apologise if I've overlooked any OOC moves towards this. In terms of IC, Cissnei is going to need a little time away from them all to process things and admittedly I've been in something of a limbo at the moment because I'm not even sure what her plans are from between the meeting to now, but I'm not against the idea. After all, she does get that if they're travelling with Zack and Kunsel they can't be all bad, she just has her own trust issues that aren't helping.
With regards to the last part, I guess I have been struggling with that a little? Not that I think you guys have been leaving me out on an ooc level but there's been a lot to work through ICly which maybe hasn't helped. Part of it I think too is just trying to get used to the group and the game (and the timezones) which isn't anyone's fault but my own.
Anyway. Again, apologies for how I've been coming across, I will work on being a lot clearer in future and try to take all this on board. You guys have all been great so far so I hope we can figure things out down the line, once the dust's had a little more time to settle.

If there's anything I can do to help the adjustment - I'm usually about at odd hours for one thing - please don't hesitate to let me know. I think with Jim at least there will be an apology forthcoming after a planned conversation with Zack, and that may help ease things. If you'd like to handwave the remainder of their current thread to cut down on IC things to work through, I'm fine with that!
